Description
Our development branch has a much improved Integration Testing setup. We should use this for ease of testing our RC branch.
Implementation
Cherry-pick merge commits for integration testing changes and resolve any issues. The following commits should be merged:

- Improved integration testing setup on 1.0.rc-1 branch
