"Best" should probably mean "best available". get_iplayer seems to give back streams that it thinks are there but do not actually exist sometimes. In this case we can work around it and choose a next best...

Could get rid of best mode after #16's preferences are complete.

Actually these commits were supposed to reference #16. Though, this ticket is closed by 9eb722e.
