How to reproduce:

  1. Send message '123' from Alice to Bob,

  1. Switch user from Alice to Bob,

  2. Click unread thread highlighted in red.

The duplicate message is only saved on the frontend as it will disappear after reloading the user's data by switching to another user and back.
