Maintenance?

Closed this issue · 8 comments

Hi,

is this project still maintained?
Would you mind either taking a look at my PR (#8) or considering giving me commit rights?
I find this package very useful and would like to register it on the General registry.

For anyone reading this: I registered my fork (https://github.com/fkastner/AlgebraicNumbers.jl) so that you can add the package in Julia with pkg> add AlgebraicNumbers.

Hello, sorry was very busy with some other things.

I just saw the work you've done with this package and looks very good! Happy to give you commit rights and you can register this package instead. Might lead to less confusion, as I suspect Google will land people here first. Either way is fine with me.

Good to see you back here.
As I wrote I registered my fork already but I think we can swap that in the registry.
I will open a new PR with my changes sometime next week. This is mostly Github actions to enable CI and making the actual "registering" a bit easier.

Excellent, thanks.

I opened a PR to point the registry to this repository: JuliaRegistries/General#44231
One last thing I forgot before: can you make sure, the Registrator github app is installed on this repo?

Yep I'll look have at it.

Hi,
the Registry PR was merged so we can close this issue now.
If you want we can release a new version with the updated compat entry for Nemo (which you merged last week).
This should now be as simple as (on Github) going to the 'Actions' tab, select the 'Register Package' workflow, click on 'Run workflow' and specify which component of the version number to bump for the new version (patch/minor/major).

I will do that now to see if everything works as expected.

Hi @anj1,
it seems the new version was never registered. Can you check again, that the Registrator github app[1] is enabled for this repository?
