Using Rover with non-numerical features seems to break when this gem calls `to_numo` on it

It seems that calling to_numo on a Rover data frame that contains categorical (string) features breaks, which breaks this gem as well. Is this a known limitation of using Rover with this gem? Just trying to make sure I'm not missing something. (Rover is great, btw!)
