`baposter.cls not found'

Closed this issue · 3 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Placed baposter.cls in MiKTex 2.9/tex/latex/baposter/base.
2. Used pdflatex and latex to build in Texmaker and Texworks.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Both programs and all build options come up with `baposter.cls' not found. Btw,
have installed beamer using the same method (simply placing the cls in
beamer/base) and that works fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MiKTex 2.9. Windows 7 (64).

That is a general latex installation problem. I can not help you with that.
Please ask at the appropriate latex support group.

As a quick fix, just copy baposter.cls into the directory in question. That
might generally be a good idea, because you are sure to have the right version,
even if you update your main tree.
