Next.js + Pusher Channels

This example shows how to build a Realtime chat application with Pusher and Next.JS serverless functions.

To run this example

  • Clone this repo and cd pusher-chat
  • Create a .env.local file and include the following keys from your Pusher dashboard
app_id
key
secret
cluster

You'll also need to get a google API key to use the realtime location feature.

  • run yarn install && yarn dev then navigate to localhost:3000 in your browser to see the application
