The version of collection docs that appears on ansible.com matches the version packaged in the latest ansible release. The 3.0.0 release won't be included until a new major version of ansible is released. You can find the current roadmap here: https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/roadmap/COLLECTIONS_10.html.
