choose an app to run??

Hi,

Ive followed all steps correctly and triple checked everything, but for some reason when i click on Run, (or the play button when my device is selected), it asks me to choose an app to run. Ive selected and tried on both the recommended ones (Watch Kit App and Today). The app installs and opens but when i try adjusting the temperature or any other setting, it instantly crashes.
Im guessing this is because when i install the app, i get the following message.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Im running iOS 9.2.1 on iPhone 6S
