Brew update results in this error:

Error: qlcolorcode: It seems the QuickLook Plugin source '/Users/username/Library/QuickLook/QLColorCode.qlgenerator' is not there.

I resolved the issue by manually unzipping the the zip file brew downloaded (found at /Users/username/Library/Caches/Homebrew/downloads/) and copying the plugin to /Users/username/Library/QuickLook.
