What is the version scheme?

Downstream package maintainer for Arch Linux here.
I can't make any sense out of the version schemed. The pattern looks like semver, but following up 24.1.0 with 30.0.0 makes no sense to me. What is the intended meaning?

I rewrote fx from scratch. Decided it will be cooler to have nice version number.

In other words the scheme is "YOLO, 42 feels like a good number today." Gotcha.
