Implement in FreeCAD

Hi Antonyo,
I hope you are well. Sorry to reach out this way but I couldn't find a direct contact so I'm opening an issue here. Feel free to close it of course.
I'm Pierre from France, I'm a contributor to the FreeCAD project. It's a 3D design Qt based software for mechanical engineering/architecture etc.
For a long time I have been wanting to improve the UI by merging the Title bar with the menu bar. And for a long time I have been put off because of the multi-plateform support of FreeCAD and the apparant difficulty of implementing this correctly.
QGoodWindow seems to be exactly solving this. But it needs some adaptation to fit it in FreeCAD it seems. As FreeCAD already has it's theme system etc.
So I come here to ask if you'd be willing to implement this in FreeCAD? That would be great. And the FreeCAD fundation has some grant money. So if you're motivated I think you could submit a grant proposal for this project. I think this would have a high chance of being accepted. If the grant asked is reasonable.
Let me know if that's interesting to you. If so let's continue the discussion by email
Cheers
Hi, @PaddleStroke!
Actually I think you could test QGoodWindow
and ask for new features and bug fixes directly here, on issues, as FreeCAD
is a open source project, i think that "trade secrets" do not apply here.
One possibility for your team is fork this repository, and ask me on issues for help to implement the library, possibly reducing the code etc.
And finally if your team see value on my project, they could consider become a sponsor of this project, with the value they believe fair.
Thanks, and sorry for the time to reply!
