Additional context
Noticed while working on my own branch with my own loosely related changes but confirmed failure occurs on main/4.0 branch. Used 5e4e551. Possible it could have been fixed in a newer commit. Tried on newest commit after seeing the failure on 5e4e551, but was not able to reproduce. I did not look into the logic/why it might be failing.
