Docker documentation is out of date

Documentation on docker is out of data and still says 2.1.0 is the latest. Also, I expect a more in-depth discussion on why the apache container is superior to the official CouchDB containers.
Expected Behavior
Docker documentation is up to date and not redundant with information at docker hub.
Current Behavior
Documentation is out of date and redundant/conflicting with information at docker hub.
Possible Solution
Stop duplicating the effort.
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

Context
I'm lost. In fact, I'm way lost. See also: https://github.com/apache/couchdb-fauxton/issues/1276
Your Environment
I am using a browser to research the documentation and determine what I'll need to stand up CouchDB + Fauxton. Not just what tools I'll need (docker), but which projects and paths (containers and storage paths in the containers).
Closing. I was obviously looking at documentation for 2.2.0.
