Rapidly clicking checkboxes creates too many nodes

There are many checkboxes for filters in http://apertium.vm.bytemark.co.uk/~firespeaker/apertium-tools/pairviewer/apertium.html. Rapidly clicking any of the checkboxes causes two copies of the node diagram to show.
