This bug can impact users signing up for communities from these two pages, it is likely to be API issue. Another observation is API call return query exception details in the JSON response on failure. These exception details should not bubble up to the browser.
Change tracks and click on save button it shows error on UI

Change any options and try to save with "Done" button, it shows same error as above on UI

Working now on the profile page, and on skill picker that isn't a feature. After discussion with @ajefts closing this
