Bug: The command 'Trivy Scan' fails due to the unknown flag '-quiet'

When I execute Trivy Scan
I would expect to perceive the scan results.
Actual
A VS Code popup reports Failed to run Trivy scan, error: 1 check logs for details.
The output window includes the following:
Incorrect Usage: flag provided but not defined: -quiet
NAME:
trivy filesystem - scan local filesystem
USAGE:
trivy filesystem [command options] dir
(and so on...)
Details
The installed version of Trivy Vulnerability Scanner is v0.2.4
$ trivy --version
