App doesn't detect if location services are turned off.

I was reinstalling the IOS app on a borrowed IPhone. When activated, the app was always asking me to allow location sharing but I never got the IOS system popup asking to allow tracking my location and that entry was always missing in the "Rakning C-19" section in Settings.

After checking the Privacy settings on the phone I saw that Location Services were turned off. After turning then on, the app was successfully able to request the location.

I've noticed that other apps (e.g. Strava) detect and notify you if Location Services are turned off and bring you to the relevant section in Settings to enable them.
