Globally installed node modules not found without session restart

Whenever you first install the CLI via npm i -g @architect-io/cli the terminal session must be closed and re-opened for changes to take effect. This is yielding confusing errors regarding the resolving of node modules like google-protobuf that aren't found immediately.
