sketch loaded through usb gets replaced every time

Is it necessary to change the name of the sketch in sketchLoadedThroughUsb and replace it every time an upload is made? Considering the feature of having multilple sketches, this seems to me quite restrictive, because it means we can have only one usb-loaded sketch and multiple network-loaded sketches.
Also, in the Device Manager application, the user won't see the actual name of the sketch.
