Library name change request

Closed this issue · 4 comments

Removing spaces from library names (as spaces are not ideal) and improving naming consistency. These libraries are intended to be usable separately or together, which is why they're separate small repos/libraries following the same naming pattern.

Hi @maker-zone . I am confirming your request.

Unlike submissions, this type of request is still handled manually. The Library Manager index maintainer occasionally comes through to clear all the outstanding requests. They will close this issue when it is done. You will get a notification from GitHub at that time.

After that, you can monitor the indexing of the library via its dedicated logs web page.
Information about that here:

Thanks. Please continue renaming to:
UltiBlox-SensorAnalog

For now I've changed the properties file back to
UltiBlox SensorAnalog
so that it will continue updating in Arduino IDE.
Otherwise the code is out of date as the logs show errors, and I would prefer it not to be out of date.

I check regularly to see if the name has completed so I'm OK with the rename proceeding, knowing that the logs will start reporting errors once it happens.
Once I see the rename is complete and the log is reporting errors due to a name mismatch I can update the properties file to fix the errors.

I will do the same for the other libraries until the rename is complete.

Done:

Removing UltiBlox SensorAnalog
Success!
