[Bug] 1.8.1 crashes all the times when I launch Notify

Backup/restore not working so due to this problem I lost my notes again.

I uninstalled version 1.7.1 and installed version 1.6.1.

Okay, in this release I will try to fix it up and also fix the restore and backup one also.

Same issue here. Android 13/crDroid 9.10. The fingerprint dialog shortly opens up (I enabled that feature before updating from 1.6.1) and the app almost instantly crashes. Here's the crash log: https://paste.crdroid.net/d9EHu6

I hope you fix that soon, since I can't access my notes at the moment and don't want to lose them by reinstalling an older version of the app.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused actually I was stuck with my office work and exams.
So I will be releasing the new version tomorrow where the app startup crash is fixed but the backup and restore is still not working fine will have to look into it.

Atleast tell me the method to copy my notes from the data where ever its stored locally so that i can transfer it somewhere else.

You need root permissions for this.

I lost my notes for the third time. Unistalled.

Apps without cloud-based sync or local file-support are not suitable for important notes, there is lots of possibilities for losing notes. (App crash, broken-device, etc)

In the past i lost my precious notes and that was really pain : now i only use markor on Mobile and Obisidian on Desktop.
