ITHO RPM blijft "Hangen" op hoge RPM

I have node red running that in case of humidity > X puts the Itho on 254 RPM via MQTT:
{"speed":254}
The fan starts spinning on 254, all good.
After a while, when the humidity drops, I put the fan back to speed 10 trough MQTT:
{"speed":10}
The "slider" in the web interface turns to 10, the motor however, keeps spinning on 254 (full).
Over at "Itho Status" I also see the higher actual RPM reflected.

Ok, after some trial and error, I found out that it seems to have something to do with the "low" number.
The lowest number that works seems to be 13. Is there a logical explanation for this behaviour?
