CVE-S ECO SP: init failed - please power cycle the Itho unit -

Closed this issue · 2 comments

Describe the bug
After installing the CVE add-on I cannot seem to get the I2C connection to work.
On the ltho status page: Itho I2C connection status: init failed - please power cycle the Itho unit -
lhto settings page: Itho device type: Unkown device type
Firmware page:

Current system firmware:
Current firmware version: 2.8.0

Hardware revision: NON-CVE 1

^ The Hardware revision is a bit puzzling to me, is that because CVE2 and NON-CVE1 got merged?

Seems a lot like: #111
Also tried different firmware: 2.9.0-BETA1, 2.8.0 and 2.7.0
Enabling/Disabling as suggested in the aforementioned issue doesn't seem to have any effect.
Resetting the humidity sensor from the i2c debug menu or restarting the unit as suggested also doesn't have any effect.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Install addon
  2. Initialize the wifi
  3. Go to the lhto settings
  4. Itho I2C connection status: init failed

Expected behaviour
I2C connection established
