Power consumption in HRU 350

Closed this issue · 2 comments

Describe the bug

I see the HRU250-300 have a power consumption feature. Does this exist for the HRU350? Is the information simply not available from the device or is it something that ithowifi isn't making available?

If the latter I could use some guidance on how to make it available 😄

{"Current consumption of fan (mA)", "current-consumption-of-fan_ma"},
{"Desired current consumption of fan (mA)", "desired-current-consumption-of-fan_ma"},

Device information

  • Firmware version [e.g. 2.2.1] 2.8.0
  • Hardware revision (e.g. non-cve 1.1) NON-CVE 1
  • Type/model number Itho (on sticker outside the box) ??
  • CC1101 RF module enabled [ yes, no ] yes
  • In case of wifi issues, wifi access point make and model: n/a

sorry I missed this issue.
The information the firmware supplies on status items is (as far as I can see) all that is available for the supported devices. There might be other I2C commands that I do not know of of course, but what I could capture using a logic analyzer and the itho service tool is reverse engineered into the add-on.

I suspect the hru250-300 is not produced by itho themselves but is a white label device with a firmware (partly) adapter to the itho/honeywell communication protocol. That might be the reason there is different information available across these devices

Makes sense. I guess I'll have to use a power monitoring plug for it then. Thanks!
