Doesn't save scrobbles, but shows "Now Playing" successfully.

This is what I see on my last.fm profile when playing through cmus.

However, the scrobbles aren't being saved. As soon as the next track begins, last.fm shows only that track.

OS: Manjaro.
cmus: v2.8.0
cmusfm: 0.3.3-1

Is this a known issue? How do I go ahead with debugging this?

Very curiously, rebuilding with --enable-debug made it start to work. Almost as if it knew I was looking at it. 🤷‍♂️ I'm closing this issue for now, but if I happen to reproduce this reliably, I'll update here.
