It'd be great to have a user-accessible status page where users can inspect the full environment that the plugin sees and what issue it had. Bonus points for a retry button in case it's a user error. Bonus points 2 for being able to see setup progress.

Was looking into the terminal API itself to make the whole setup seem transparent
