Blocks or Snippets?

Hey Everyone! I want to introduce snippets instead of the blocks design. Would you guys like this?

My reasoning behind this is:

  • The codebase is EXTREMELY hard to maintain
  • This would make it much easier to add content (and blocks)
  • People can add their own snippets if needed.

sounds interesting...though I don't visualize yet how it would look like?
and secondly. would it be compatible with previous versions? Meaning I have production clients using this theme

More or less, we could get away with just content blocks, and no buttons

It wouldn't, there would be a new version, but that doesn't mean you can keep the blueprints there. Most of the blueprints would go away in favor of the snippets, but since you seeded everything, it really wouldn't matter.
