the latest version dates back to last year, also the latest changes to the code, is anyone still working on it?

This is the community that must work on such a project :)

I see one recent PR, I'll have a look. I'll also try to do a bit of triage of the recent issues.

Any other contribution of any kind will be warmly welcome !

I agree. We are two people very busy also with private and business life.

We try to keep the project alive but definitely also need help from the community.
