Font size argument making larger images with apparently the same font size

Hello,
First of all, thanks for all your work, agg has been really useful for me.
I'm trying to create gifs with a larger font size, but I do not seem to be getting the expected result. If I create a gif with the default size with the command agg recording gif-file and then another with agg --font-size 28 recording gif-file I get two gifs of different resolutions (the one with the --font-size argument has higher resolution), but when opening both of them in full screen, the text appears in both sizes. I've tried both supported renderers and I get the same result.

Higher font size results in higher resolution - that's intended, how it should behave.

When you open the GIF files in fullscreen your viewer program is probably scaling/resizing it to the screen size.

You're correct. To clarify my misunderstanding for any future reader, to make the text actually appear bigger after converting the gif to a video (which was my workflow) I had to modify the screen size in the .cast file. After that I would get the desired result. Thanks for your help @sickill!
