Update spectral-cube notebook and others?

It sounds like there have been recent code developments by Aperio folks which justify an update to the spectral-cube notebook and potentially others. Or which motivate new notebooks. Let's use this issue to document what are these new features which are worthy of writing tutorials about to raise awareness about there existence. @Cadair and/or @astrofrog?
