Website Migration to Typescript

Reason/Context

  • Why we need this improvement?
With current implementation of website, we are somewhat restricted with the usage of the Next v12 and Node versions. With these configurations, we are not able to harness latest features of the libraries. Also, to properly maintain the project in future, we have to set rules and guidelines on the project to scale and expand it easily and efficiently.

  • How will this change help?
This change will help the fellow developers, contributors and maintainers to understand and scale the project in the future by incoporating new features in website. Moreover, we may get rid of numerous cypress testing in the website.

@akshatnema Do we have the approval from the website maintainers to work on this migration? I understand this migration will allow us to do more. I'd like to discuss more on this, contribute to the idea and might take this on if we are in agreement to migrate, make the shift and the work planned out. WDYT?

Yeah, I already discussed this with @anshgoyalevil and @derberg, and the doc has been prepared according to it.

Hello @akshatnema, I am interested in migrating TypeScript to the website. Can you guide how to proceed with this migration?

I am also interested in this Issue.

Hey Everyone, thanks for showing interest in the idea. We are currently going with limited number of contributors to track the idea in better way.
So, the current assignees for this idea are @Shurtu-gal @TRohit20 @vishvamsinh28.

Selections are done on the basis of their previous contributions inside project and organisation. Don't get demotivated here. We may increase the number of contributors working on this issue later on, based on our needs.

@akshatnema, if there is any space for additional contributors on this issue, I am confident that I would be a perfect fit.
