I'm using a E160X with firmware 11.609.10.02.432, when I'm placing a call from
a SIP or IAX client I have no send/recv audio when I'm calling a number and the
other end is answer BUT I can listen audio only when I'm calling a 4 digit
support provider number and a recorded message is playing.
I'm using an ARM platform and a Greek mobile carrier.
I have no warnings or errors messages is difficult to debug it, I have try any
kind of codecs and various uclibc/glibc builds.
Output:
Called Dongle/g0/XXXXXXXXXX
-- Dongle/dc_2950_3288-0100000001 is making progress passing it to
IAX2/iaxuser-16
-- Dongle/dc_2950_3288-0100000001 answered IAX2/iaxuser-16

possible source of problem
1) invalid dongle or firmware
2) invalid OS and build
3) hardware problems
usually problems with audio mean one way

When I plug the dongle directly to my USB board's port the problem solved. So,
I think is the USB-hub relative known issue. I can't full explain why I can
listening only the provider recorded messages when I'm using USB hub but it
works.

Please check you hub, it should be USB 2.0 not USB 1.0.
read kernel messages with dmesg, kernel complain if USB 2.0 dongle attached to
USB 1.0 bus.
Same result you will have if load USB 1.0 drivers BEFORE USB 2.0 drivers
I close issue as invalid
