Picture upload fails

iOS 8.1.2, iPhone 5s

Sometimes (but not always) when I upload a picture in the metadata, the upload immediately returns with a success message, even though no actual picture gets uploaded.

I still don't understand the pattern, most of my pictures are taken with the iPhone camera, and some are edited with the photos app.

Let me know if I can help in any way. It just happened again with a production in my account (same user name as here) and preset "Abzug FM"

Thanks - I guess it is not possible to reproduce it all the time?

I guess it happens in about 90% of all cases.

Okay, I can reproduce it now.

I'm using a preset with a default picture.

The new picture gets lost when I delete the default picture in auphonic iOS and then add the new one.

The new picture goes through fine when I don't delete the default picture and just add the new one on top.
