this may not be specific to your code because it seems like several rss preview/detection add-ons have quit working, at least to some extent, since the last 1 or 2 version updates to firefox stable, perhaps since v73
on github the address bar icon appears
on youtube it doesn't, but i'm not sure on what channel page you're looking for the feed
on my site it doesn't and my rss link is in the head section of the html - also not seeing any problem in the browser console...

solved - it was a problem with my .htaccess :)
