Starting with NetBox 3.3, NetBox does no longer display navigation menu items for objects the user does not have permission to access.
NetBox DNS does not evaluate permissions for the navigation menu items and displays them regardless. As soon as an item is selected, the list view comes up with an error message that the user is not allowed to access the resource. This is confusing and irritating and should be fixed.
