Show number of successful (past) handshakes

Opened this issue · 6 comments

This actually more of a question:

How can I see the number / timeline of successful handshakes (and their expiry) in the Android app?

Unfortunately, the Google/Apple API does not provide the info, so the app cannot show it... see also #190.

And why is the Corona Warn App in Germany in able to do the low and high risk information with a counter?

As far as I know the CWA only shows risk encounters, so it shows the counter of people you have been in contact with who reported their infection. The risk category (low, high) is calculated based on the distance and time the two people had contact.

So this could be possible as well: showing the number of infected people you had contact with. But not the number of all handshakes.

@bauxi that sounds like a good starting point, the major concern I observed with the current version: "it seems like the app not doing anything"

Maybe it could be better explained why it is not possible to see contacts, because this seems to be a reason for some people to not use the app [1][2]. Also the Android settings screen for exposure notifications is confusing for some users [3][4].
