Bonus Game glitched

Sometimes (not very common, but happens) the Bonus Game is glitched and impossible to solve, not even being able to hit the boxes, forcing to reset the game. This in particular occurred with seed "smw-v2.2-a51a5668". I've seen it in Zsnes and Snes9x so it's not the software.
