[Mac OS X] hreader only opens .scn files

On Mac OS, only .scn files are accepted by hrender while file from any extension can be open on my Ubuntu 14.04 box.
On Mac:
$ hrender myfile.lua
gives an error message while it runs smoothly on Ubuntu (of course, the content of the file is consistant).
I was just bewildered by the fact it is different on each OS so I opened this issue.
