Where is this project going now that AWS has announced CloudScape design systems

I noticed that AWS blog has announced CloudScape design system. The components in this repo, seems to match CloudScape's components.
I read texts in this repo suggesting that AWS has plans to open source AWS UI and it's design systems. Is CloudScape the project?
It looks like we can migrate to CloudScape by replacing @awsui in package names like @awsui/components-react with @cloudscape-design. And that design system resolves #36, #7 and #3.
