Sometimes ingame settings cannot be changed

Sometimes, and apparently randomly, I cannot changes settings as TDP, Scaling etc. When I switch the value to a different one, after stopping rolling over the different possible values, the value becomes a "?" and after a second or two, it becomes the original value. Restarting the Deck helps, and some times restarting the game does too. I cannot see a pattern or a way to reproduce it, it's a bit odd.
