ScriptSafe now disabled by Google, as of 4/15/2015?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Update Google Chrome to Version 42.0.2311.90 m, on 4/15/2015 or the day
before
2.
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect to be able to
use ScriptSafe or at least access the usual options pop-up window for the
extension. Now the extension button at the top right is no longer active. I
click on the icon and it does nothing. Before the recent Chrome update, I could
click on the icon and see the ScriptSafe options window.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I believe I'm using the most recent version, 1.0.6.18, from May 19, 2014.
Windows 7.
Please provide any additional information below.
Even though ScriptSafe no longer appears to be updated, it worked fine until a
month or two ago. Google must have altered something in Chrome, because
enabling ScriptSafe caused the Google search bar to break and show only a blank
screen or error message. Then a couple weeks ago, someone discovered that
Chrome with ScriptSafe was working again. Now after the Chrome update this
week, it appears that ScriptSafe is now disabled by Google. I can't even access
the Options window by using the right-click menu. I get a new tab with this
URL: chrome-extension://oiigbmnaadbkfbmpbfijlflahbdbdgdf/html/options.html, but
the tab hangs and does not load any page.

I'm not seeing that here (same version of Chrome), & ScriptNo is still there &
operating as normal.
BUT, it appears SciptNo has been abandoned, for whatever reason. Time to find
an alternative I think :-(
