Is there an issue with this sensor. I am using it with opensky to monitor flight information and it has been working faultlessly for months. Now the sensor appears on the map of homeassistant. This never used to happen...Has the recent security changes and vulnerabilites changed something since they have updated Home Assistant to 2021.1.5

Hi @brinzlee, nothing of importance has changed in the sensor, and is not doing anything related with the security changes in HA, so it shouldn't fail because of that.

That is strange 😅, but it should be related to the sensor attributes, which are filled with the event data it is listening to.

Could you copy here some example of the specific HA event you're listening to, and also the contents of the EventSensor (state + attributes) when that event is triggered?

I suspect there are GPS coordinates involved in those events, right? (plane positions for those flights?)

Maybe HA Core is now showing on the map everything with a latitude and longitude in attributes??
