Communication with device in the same network

Hi,

Guys i've starting using azk, at the moment my node js application is only a restful api, i want to communicate with this API by android application connected in the same network, but i've always timeout. I changed my virtualbox to permit alll request in ip, but without answer, sorry if this is the same topic of someone else.

I read "...safely run any environment on your local machine", but is There any alternative to solve this?

I ran in mac os x 10.12.
