It looks like this experiment is coming to an end! As of a few hours ago, Apple's endpoints are all returning 404 errors:

$ curl https://cdn.smoot.apple.com/static/autofill_tld_whitelist_url
404 page not found

The other endpoints mentioned in #2 are also 404'ing.

I'll keep monitoring the endpoint for a few days to see if it comes back. I do find it interesting that the data never changed in the 5 months I've been monitoring it.

If anyone knows how/if Apple is changing the way they handle autofilling domains, I'd be curious to hear!

Edit: the URLs are working again. Seems there was just a temporary outage.
