Fails to work on hard disk

I guess an HDD has way different geometry, so the program just kind of dies. I was able to fudge the numbers a bit in terms of sector size and physical geometry. to get something that basically looks like a hard disk, but it's definitely not portable to other devices.

Any chance you will ever develop this again? It's a beautifully researched script (I saw your notes in it).
