Wakeonlan stopped working

Following my previous message of Nov. 2022, I managed to have wakeonlan working remotely, using WOLagent on a pc always on in the remote lan. Unfortunately, now it stoped working. As far as I know, nothing has changed,. Moreover, on that pc WakeonLan does not work locally either .In other words, running wakeonlan on that pc I cannot wake any other pc in the same lan; running wakeonlan on another pc in the same lan, it works perfectly. Of course, the "properties" of the pc's are the same in both cases.
Just to complete, I tried running another wakeup utility in the win 11 pc, and it works fine. Any ideas?

Also, the fact that that pc cannot wakeup the other pc means that the agent isn't going to be able to either.
So, we need to see why.
Could be a local firewall on that machine not letting the packets out, or a router configuration?
I think the fastest way to troubleshoot is get Wireshark on the source machine, see that it is sending UDP 9 WOL messages.
Put Wireshark on the target machine, are the WOL messages getting there?
If not, we need to figure out why.
The other machines "in the same lan". Are they connected by a switch? or a managed switch?
