Add "default" object

A possible implementation was suggested in #43, but it was removed for #51.

This functionality should be added in some form or another, the details are up for discussion!

In the meantime, I've implemented this in the sounddevice module: http://python-sounddevice.readthedocs.org/#sounddevice.default
