Napari freezes when running RSPV mean contour

Describe the bug
When the RSPV mean contour method starts, it freezes the main window until it finishes (a few seconds).

To Reproduce

  1. Open Annotation Toolbox
  2. Create a 3D Labels layer
  3. Annotate 2 distant slices
  4. Run interpolation using the RSPV method

Expected behavior
The main window should not freeze, and maybe show a progress bar.
