New MAG website

BBC Mobile Accessibility Guidelines have moved to a new website. All URLs referencing the MAG website and the guidelines within it will need to be updated, so that documentation is correct.

Can this be picked up now @EmmaJP FYI @jroebu14

Hi @greenc05

We’re waiting final URLs for the new site. It’s in progress. Just waiting for the many moving parts to come together.

It should happen sooner rather than later but we need the dependencies in place before we can flick the switch.

J&L

As it’s an internal tool, we could change them to the current URLs and change them to whatever the new ones are when the final URLs are chosen.

If it works changing depends on the amount of effort I guess. I can’t estimate that. Perhaps Emma could estimate the dev effort required and make a call from there?

Thanks @JamieKnightBBC was just checking if it could be picked up, it can wait if we don't have urls...

So long as any future URL changes are like for like, the dev effort of doing this again should be fairly minimal. The main complexity of this one was that a couple of the guidelines changed name and/or section. That isn't so straightforward as some of bbc-a11y hinges on that structure.

If memory serves correctly, the changes necessary are all in #297. However, there was an outstanding bug that I couldn't resolve without taking a day or two to set up a working dev environment. Louise had sorted out a few issues I couldn't, but couldn't work out the last one.

The URLs at /accessibility/forproducts are already public, and bbc-a11y is largely staff facing, so I don't think there is any conflict there.

Perhaps @jroebu14 can resolve the outstanding issue with the #297 PR, and anything else from other PRs since its creation, and push the changes through to a release.
